Life Drawing

Life drawing was a new experience for me as I felt totally out of my comfort zone while in the lecture, the environment was very different, along with the tools I was using. All my drawings were done in charcoal along with using an easel, here are a couple of my drawings:

Visual Design

In today's lesson, I was shown how photo shop was used to create concept ideas for computer games. Today I was shown a tutorial how concept can be created in different steps to really present how an idea can be shown. The tutorial was shown in different steps with the first being black and white slowly transcending into colour at the end. Here is my final design from the lesson:

Visual Design Homework 1

In this weeks homework I had to design a robot, at first I couldn't think of any ideas however after a couple of days of thinking about it. I came up with the idea of a clock work robot, I wanted it to be unique and not the traditional stereotype of nuts and bolts and a square body. So I decided to go for a psy-fi idea where the body wasn't linked up by not giving my robot a spine, my robot could have his head and legs unattached from the torso. here are my design ideas for my robot:

Week 1

Week 1

In one of the lectures in week one, we were placed into groups to create a story about an animal we had been given to create the story and find facts about. My group was given a spider, after discussing what we wanted to do, we decided on creating a funny cartoon story where the spider would go on adventure travelling the world to find something new in life. This is where I had a design idea of a humanoid spider with a backpack a walking stick, almost as a hiker with 8 legs, here is my concept idea for the spider:
